Steadfast Tin Soldier and His Ballerina
I created these paper cuttings in primary colors. 

 I used red, blue and yellow,

 although,

because of the shadows,

they look like different colors in different places.


My very rough draft/gesture

This is my collage of textures that we collected last week.
 I needed to find some more or make some more dark textures
for the shadows so I added a few to my collection.
The sphere is actually a thumbprint enlarged
and used with different opacities.
